Let's take one last look at this past year before we close it all out.  We will take a quick peek at some of our favorites items we received in 2013. What makes our favorites list? Most items are extraordinarily unique or just simply divine pieces!

Room of the Week

 

When you hear the term "rustic," log cabins, red flannel, and grizzly bears come to mind.  In this room rustic charm takes on a new meaning with chic modern flair.  The straight-line orange island top pops against the natural wood and slate gray walls.  The uniquely beautiful basket weave chandelier draws your attention upward and to the cozy loft and the sky lights that let in just enough natural light. 

Pantone Color of The Year: Radiant Orchid

 

Unless you've been living under a rock, you've heard that Radiant Orchid is Pantone's color of the year for 2014.  Pantone describes Radiant Orchid as "an enchanting harmony of fuchsia, purple and pink undertones," adding that the color "reaches across the color wheel to intrigue the eye and spark the imagination."  This expressive and exotic color blooms with confidence and warmth and couples well with grey, creamy whites, khaki, and metallics.  Looking for a bolder color combination?  Opt for emerald, orange, yellow, or blue.  As the year unfolds, the magical Radiant Orchid will be showing up everywhere: fashion, paint, beauty, appliances, and of course home décor!
